Kim joined the firm as a paralegal in 2023. Kim graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2023 with a B.A. in Criminology, Law, and Society. During her time at UCI, Kim participated in an Advanced Forensic Psychology seminar and authored a research paper about the negative psychological effects of incarceration, specifically solitary confinement. Kim was the recipient of the UCI Chancellor’s Fellowship to participate in the University of California’s Washington Program (UCDC) in 2023, through which she spent a semester interning with the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the District of Columbia.
Prior to attending UCI, Kim graduated with Highest Honors from Fresno City College with associate degrees in psychology and administration of justice. As a student at FCC, Kim served as the president of the school’s Criminology Club and worked as a paralegal for a local law firm specializing in criminal defense and civil rights cases.
Kim grew up in California and now lives in Washington, DC with her dog, Jet.
